We file all of your rebate paperwork electronically! Green Collar Operations is a participating contractor for the Home Performance with Energy Star program. As a participating company it is our job to take care of your paperwork and ensure you get your rebates as quickly as possible.
Here is the breakdown of how we file for your rebates:
For solar attic fans, homeowners are eligible to receive a federal tax credit for 30% (or up to $1,500) for the cost of the fan provided that the fan was installed between 2011 through the end of 2016. You are responsible for filing the federal tax credit on your personal tax return. If you decide to claim your attic fan tax credit, download Solar Royal’s Manufacturers Certification Form http://www.solarroyal.com/solar-attic-fan-tax-rebate-information/ Keep this document and any receipts with your income tax records.
